Job Description

As a Player Coach for the Quote+ Sales team, you will play a hands-on role in developing sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Your primary focus will be coaching sales representatives to secure business with well-suited prospects. In this position, you will guide and mentor the team and actively participate in executing, refining, and enhancing current sales objectives and go-to-market strategies.

Your responsibilities will be leveraging key metrics in the business to ensure the continuous improvement of our sales initiatives. The successful execution of these strategies is pivotal in achieving the financial targets set for the sales organization. Your duties will encompass meeting monthly and annual targets, building meaningful relationships within and outside the organization, and staying attentive to customer trends.


  • Inspire, lead, and drive the sales team to meet or exceed all sales and bookings goals and other expectations established by executive leadership.
  • Ensure all leads are captured, accurately recorded, tagged, and maintained using our CRM and marketing automation platform.
  • Handle all aspects of the sales effort, from prospecting to closing including Customer Success handoff.
  • Assist your team throughout their strategic sales processes by understanding customers' needs and mapping them to the value of AgencyBloc.
  • Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Work collaboratively with all functions to ensure alignment, which will lead to the Sales Team’s success.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of AgencyBloc’s suite of solutions.
  • Report on KPIs and drive activity attainment through the front-line sales team.
  • Be able to maintain a clean pipeline and accurately forecast revenue.
  • Stay informed on industry and competitor trends.
  • Support on-going product and market development.
  • Manage client accounts effectively, ensuring smooth communication, addressing concerns, and facilitating the resolution of issues.


  • 5+ years experience working in SaaS in a sales management role and at least 10 years overall sales experience. Health and Group Benefits industry experience is a plus.
  • Success in a past leadership role required the ongoing development of individuals.
  • Proficient with modern sales technology such as HubSpot, Gong, and ZoomInfo.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels of an organization, internally and externally.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Creative, critical thinker with customer service mindset.
  • Results driven, and organized self-starter.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and successfully.
