Job Description

We’re seeking an outstanding individual to support the quality of our awesome product. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be a member of the Product Team and will have quality assurance responsibilities. This role will work to ensure quality product releases by way of leading QA efforts on medium to large initiatives, creating test strategies, plans and test cases, performing both manual and some automation testing, and reporting results. Have experience in waterfall and agile projects. You will work in a fast-paced dynamic environment that demands flexibility, high quality work with attention to details, striving for simplicity, and creativity.

Responsibilities of this position:

  • Acquire a deep understanding and passion for our product and how our clients benefit from using it
  • Lead quality assurance efforts on medium to large initiatives
  • Create test strategies, including functional, smoke, integration, performance, compatibility, usability, accessibility, and regression test
  • Estimate test creation, data creation, and execution time for functional, security, integration, non-functional, regression and performance testing
  • Execute complex tests, reporting results, and participating in release decisions
  • Create test objectives, plans, and cases based on requirements and client/user scenarios
  • Perform complex analysis of requirements and system specifications to ensure test coverage
  • Use third party tools such as ‘BrowserStack’ for browser compatibility testing
  • Assist in the maintenance and execution of an automated regression test suite
  • Investigate defects, issues, and risks within the product and facilitating resolution
  • Collaborate closely with the product and client success teams to increase the quality of the product
  • Work with tools like Jira, Xray and Jenkins

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree in computer systems field of study or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience with testing web-based applications, including multi-device responsive design and cross browser testing experience
  • Comprehensive foundation in software quality assurance testing practices such as test planning, test execution, risk assessment and measurement
  • Exceptional experience with analyzing testing needs, creating test cases that cover expected and unexpected conditions, setting up test data, executing those test cases, and reporting results
  • Experience with organizing and managing test suites, cases, and runs using test case management software
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong risk assessment and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and professional software engineering best practices
  • Self-guided, goal-oriented, and loves finding bugs and squashing them
