Job Description

We’re seeking an outstanding individual to join our product development team. You will be working on a fast-growing SaaS platform that our clients use to run their insurance agencies across the country. Our team collaborates to build new features to differentiate our product and help our clients work smarter. You will work in a dynamic environment that demands flexibility, high quality work, striving for simplicity, and creativity.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire a deep understanding of our product and its benefit to our clients
  • Work with our product team to build & support enhancements to the platform
  • Collaborate with our UI team to integrate new features
  • Provide software engineers with direction, training, and guidance related to product initiatives and development practices
  • Lead by example in contributing clean, high-quality, readable code to support the teams' initiatives (player/coach mentality)
  • Review submitted code to ensure quality of end-product and adherence to team standards

Requirements:

  • Proficient in C#, with at least 5 years of Web Development experience (MVC / layered architecture preferred)
  • Demonstrated mastery of unit testing in a .NET environment
  • Knowledge of MySQL or other relational database management system
  • Experience with HTML, Typescript, JavaScript, and preferably one of the following: Angular, React, StencilJS
  • Adept in researching and exploring new technologies/solutions with limited direction
  • Familiar with fundamental design patterns and principles
  • Passionate about writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
  • Proven aptitude to lead and inspire software engineers
  • Self-guided and goal-oriented
