Job Description

The Marketing Intelligence Intern will work primarily with the Marketing Intelligence team to help support and grow marketing & sales efforts related to gaining new business. This role will also assist with enriching intelligence on current clients in support of expanding existing accounts. The primary purpose is to gather deeper prospects and client intelligence to enrich our existing CRM data.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on behalf of the business development team to uncover potential new leads and new accounts
• Research new business opportunities utilizing internal and external databases, directories, websites, and other resources
• Maintain timely, accurate, and uniform documentation of all sales records in the CRM system
• Work to identify key demographic information for relevant account types and gather/enter that information into identified key accounts in the CRM system
• Assist with administrative duties, such as data enrichment and cleansing, related to new business development and organic growth
• Perform other related duties, special projects, and assignments as required

Qualifications:

• A self-starter who is passionate about uncovering leads and developing marketing & sales intelligence on the account level
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and curious mind
• Driven to succeed in an integrated team environment
• Combine creative and pragmatic use of insight and data with attention to detail
• Attention to detail and ability to self-motivate through longer term projects
• Proven experience working successfully in a fast paced team atmosphere

Preferences:

• Undergraduate enrolled in Iowa college/university
• Available 14 weeks, 10 paid hours per week minimum
