Some people are naturally good at holding conversation with strangers. They're naturally charismatic and never seem to be at a loss for words. Not you? Me either, though I've gotten a lot better. 

I've had to consciously work on being more comfortable in situations where I'll need to hold conversations with strangers because I'm not naturally good at it. While attending college, I joined the marketing club and I set up group study sessions to force myself into these situations so I could begin being comfortable in them. And guess what? It's helped.
