Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to coordinate and scale Agile delivery across multiple engineering teams, building a SaaS platform in the health insurance industry. This role resides within the Engineering organization, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, and plays a pivotal role in strengthening delivery alignment, structure, and predictability across our growing product and engineering functions.

This role will help foster consistency, improve collaboration, and bring greater visibility to planning and execution. You will partner closely with technical leads and product managers to improve coordination, support team-level delivery, and establish foundational practices for metrics, forecasting, and capacity planning.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, is comfortable stepping into complex team dynamics, and brings a calm, structured mindset to delivery excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Agile delivery coordination across multiple cross-functional teams supporting a range of SaaS products with varying maturity levels.
• Partner with product and engineering leads to align sprint planning, backlog health, and cross-team execution.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and product demonstrations.
• Foster strong collaboration between engineering and product stakeholders to promote a shared understanding of priorities and goals.
• Help guide product and technical prioritization conversations, focusing on resolving ambiguity and resource constraints.
• Establish and refine delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, throughput, cycle time) to enable effective forecasting and stakeholder reporting.
• Support delivery forecasting, capacity planning, and tracking of resource availability across engineering teams.
• Identify and remove delivery blockers, whether technical, organizational, or procedural.
• Act as a coach and thought partner to both engineering leadership and cross-functional team members.
• Champion a culture of ownership, delivery excellence, and learning across engineering and product functions.

Skills/Education/Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Manager, supporting multiple cross-functional teams.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience adapting them pragmatically in evolving product landscapes.
• Expertise with Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and dashboarding metrics for visibility and decision-making.
• Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills with a proven ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive clarity.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, clarify priorities, and drive accountability.
• Comfortable operating in environments where product and process maturity are still evolving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS environments.
• Exposure to delivery forecasting, resourcing models, or program-level coordination.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe SM) or equivalent.
