Every year, we pour a lot of heart into BlocBuilder, AgencyBloc’s Annual Conference. And every year, the community we call The Bloc shows up and makes it all worth it. This year, we hosted our biggest and best BlocBuilder yet, bringing together insurance professionals, technology partners, and AgencyBloc clients from across the country for three days in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
In our post-event survey, 92% of attendees rated their overall experience a 4 or 5 out of 5. The atmosphere, energy, and connections made were the things we heard about most. Here's a look back at the highlights…

What Is BlocBuilder and Who Attends?
BlocBuilder is AgencyBloc's annual conference for the health, life, Medicare, and group benefits insurance community. It brings together independent agents, agency owners, commissions managers, administrators, and GA/IMO/FMO leaders for hands-on learning, product insights, and peer connection.
This year's event was held at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and it was the biggest one we've ever hosted.
Nearly 350 attendees joined us from 200+ organizations across the country, representing agencies of all sizes and lines of business — individual health, Medicare, group benefits, and life insurance. Over 40% of companies sent more than one person, meaning agencies are investing in their teams, not just sending one person to report back.
We've watched this community grow year over year, and seeing the numbers climb is genuinely exciting. But what gets us more than the headcount is the quality of the people in the room. The Bloc has become a community that agencies actively want to be part of, engage with, and grow alongside.
What Did Attendees Do Before the Main Sessions?
Before the full conference kicked off, a dedicated group of attendees took advantage of our hands-on certification courses and pre-conference add-ons. This year's certification offerings included:
- Digital Marketing Certification, covering Engage+, AgencyBloc's insurance-specific digital marketing solution, including email automation, content libraries, and social media tools
- Data Management Certification, helping agencies audit, clean, and structure their data inside AMS+
- Commissions+ Certifications, with both beginner and advanced tracks for commissions managers
We hear from attendees every year that the certification courses are some of the most valuable pieces of BlocBuilder. One person from the post-event survey described the Digital Marketing certification as "packed with practical how-tos," which is exactly what we aim for.

Which Sessions and Speakers Stood Out at BlocBuilder 2026?
We had a strong lineup this year, and the post-event survey feedback confirmed. A few sessions stood out above the rest.
- Amanda Brewton's Ethics, Reputation & Compliance session was the single most-cited session in the survey. Her timely focus on Medicare compliance hit home for a lot of agents navigating an increasingly complex regulatory environment, and we're so glad we had her on stage.
- This year was the first year we brought a keynote speaker who also emceed the event. Brad Montgomery brought humor and real substance in equal measure, bringing energy to the crowd alongside a powerful message of encouragement. He even danced (literally) around a surprise fire alarm, and we’re still questioning if he magically set it off himself.
- The Leadership Forum with Scott Sanchez was one of our favorite moments of the week. Scott brought real candor to a room of agency leaders, giving everyone a couple hours to stop working IN their businesses and start working ON their business, all through fun hands-on challenges.
- Coach G's (Chase Gruening) session on scaling a Medicare agency rounded out the top tier of sessions. Attendees said they appreciated his practical, no-fluff approach to agency growth.

What Did AgencyBloc Announce About Its Product Roadmap?
Our closing session is always one of the moments we work hardest to get right. We want to leave people feeling genuinely energized about where we're headed together.
We were honest about what the industry is dealing with right now:
- Regulation is increasing
- Consolidation is accelerating
- Client expectations are rising
- Agencies are being asked to do more with less
On stage, we shared our response to all of those things is a continued commitment to building a truly connected platform where your data, workflows, and decisions live in one place, so the day-to-day gets simpler rather than harder.
And we shared that our focus on AMS+, our core solution, hasn’t changed. We believe strong foundations matter most. You need a trusted source of truth, repeatable operations, and real visibility into your business. So, we announced that we're continuing to simplify AMS+ so that foundation is something you can rely on completely.
We also announced that an integration with HealthSherpa Medicare is coming. We maintain a close feedback loop with our clients so we know what matters most to your day-to-day. HealthSherpa kept coming up in that feedback loop, and we’re excited to be bringing this integration to our joint clients.
What Is AgencyBloc Intelligence?
Finally, we discussed AI. One of the biggest announcements of the closing session was the introduction of AgencyBloc Intelligence, our approach to embedding AI into the core solutions and workstreams where agents need it most.
We introduced the BlocBuilder audience to what we believe AI should be:
- Client-centered. AI built around real agency workstreams, not generic use cases.
- Expert-in-the-loop. As the expert, agents remain in control.
- Thoughtfully embedded. Built into the platform experience, not added on as an afterthought.
- Anchored in trust. The goal is to reduce routine work, not replace the judgment and relationships that make great agents great.
We’re aiming to bring insurance agents solutions that ease administrative burden, provide faster access to useful information, and give them better support for decisions. We told attendees to expect rapid innovation here as we build, and we're genuinely excited about where this is going. We dove deeper on the topic in a post-BlocBuilder podcast: AgencyBloc + AI: A Conversation on the Future of Agency Work.
What Did Networking Look Like at BlocBuilder 2026?
BlocBuilder is where The Bloc community becomes tangible, and the connections made this year were a big part of what made it special.
Networking is consistently one of the areas we receive the most positive feedback. Whether it was over breakfast, in the sponsor hall, between sessions, or at the BlocParty, attendees appreciated the chance to be around people who understand the unique challenges of running an insurance agency.

The BlocParty wrapped up day one with great food, live music, and plenty of laughter. Even the dreaded Florida rain couldn't slow us down — we moved things inside but kept the energy going with a live band and salsa dancers.
The vendor hall was another highlight. Attendees loved the mix of technology and service partners this year, and we saw a lot of genuine enthusiasm for new solutions and conversations.
