Since formally announcing the launch of Engage+ at this year’s BlocBuilder event in April, we’ve kicked off the Engage+ Early Adopter Program with a simple goal: to build smarter digital marketing tools with our clients, not just for them.
Through our first cohort, we’ve been listening closely to what’s working, what’s missing, and where we can make life a little easier for busy agencies. This journal is our way of keeping you in the loop — sharing what we’re hearing, what we’re building because of it, and what’s coming next.

What We’re Learning from the First Cohort
The first group of Engage+ Early Adopters gave us a front-row seat to what agencies really need in a content marketing solution — and we’re using every insight to fine-tune the experience. Here’s what we’re hearing (and what we’re doing about it):
1. Confidence Starts with Clarity and Control
Early Adopters want to feel in control of who can access and publish content — especially when it comes to email and social media outreach.
- What we heard: Clients need more granular user-based permissions, so only the right team members can create, edit, or publish content.
- What we’re doing: Our team has built a permission framework to better support team-based content strategies.
We’re also seeing that some agencies are hesitant to jump in — not because the tool is hard to use, but because they’re afraid of making mistakes. That’s a powerful insight, and we’re addressing it head-on.
2. Content Is Only as Good as the Platform That Supports It
Agencies love the variety of content — now we’re helping them use it more effectively.
- What we heard: Personalizing newsletters, copy-pasting blog posts, customizing social content, and planning a posting schedule are still new to many users.
- What we’re doing:
- We’re breaking down training recordings into bite-sized how-tos
- Reworking onboarding to give users hands-on access earlier
- Restructuring office hours into small-group support sessions that are easier to attend
- Letting users choose their own training path based on what matters most to them
We’re also encouraging users to activate tools before training to save time and maximize value.
3. Smart Distribution Begins with Smart Lists
Some clients flagged issues with email recipients getting duplicates when they have multiple policies.
- What we heard: One contact, multiple policies = multiple emails. That’s not ideal.
- What we’re doing: We’re exploring deduplication logic that ensures each contact receives only one version of a communication, no matter how many policies they hold.
4. More of What’s Working, Deeper Where It Counts
The content library is a hit — especially the coverage across different lines of business, audiences, and marketing channels.
- What we heard:
- Small group content is valuable but needs deeper coverage
- There’s additional need for more technical Medicare content
- Google Business content is a bigger opportunity than expected
- What we’re doing: These themes are shaping our June and July content roadmaps — and several updates are already in motion.
Client Spotlight: Hitting the Ground Running with Engage+
One Early Adopter Participant didn’t waste any time — they’ve been making the most of Engage+ Content Marketing.
Since joining the Program, the team has posted to social media every weekday in May. In just one evening, they invited their contacts to follow their business Facebook page and saw their follower count jump from just a couple to over 60 followers in less than 12 hours.
In a recent check-in, the team shared how excited they are about the tool — calling it easy to use and a game-changer for their marketing efforts.
We love seeing Early Adopters jump in, take ownership, and start seeing momentum right away. And, we’re just getting started.
